“Celtic Spirit Guides™" - What Makes This Oracle So Attractive? (Part One)

I have been attracted by divination techniques from the very first time I saw my grandmother performing her divinatory rituals when I was a little child. The idea of creating oracle decks was in my mind over the years. I once took notice there was a divination system similar to mine, which was employed by Russian gypsies on the 19th C. This fact motivated me furthermore to conceive and design the present “Celtic Spirit Guides™” deck.

What makes this deck attractive is the fact that the reader doesn't work with the "cards" other than to lay them out. The cards work with the pictures created by combining them together through the rotation of each card in its place. I took this decision since it has a unique divination method that lets the figures reveal themselves according to fate. The way you place them, will be the way the Spirit Guide shall unveil itself or not. 

From this point of view, I am quite aware that no one may choose his Spirit Guide, but just expect to be chosen by it. Furthermore, when I began to design the "Celtic Spirit Guides" Oracle, I considered it was necessary to assign ogham letters and kennings for each of the cards listed on it. This process was carried out according to the original associations of the initial letters of the Ogham Alphabet, and the words list featured featured in the Irish manuscript "In Lebor Ogaim" ("The Book of Ogams"), also known as the "Ogam Tract", which is an Old Irish treatise on the ogham alphabet.

Therefore, the reading implies a combination of the divinatory meaning, the wisdom rendered by each spirit guide, and the hidden message of each layout cardinal position. For this singular reason, when a picture is laid "upside down", not "reversed" reading takes part of this deck.
